Apple Tangrine Chutney

Ingredients:

Tangerines 10 remove white pith

Apple 1 Large peeled and diced

Onion 1 medium chopped

Jaggery powder ½ cup (depending upon sourness of tangerines)

Black pepper 1 tsp

Kosher Salt 1 tsp

Ginger 1 tsp minced

Apple cider Vinegar 1 tbsp

Fresh coriander ½ cup

Mustard seeds ½ tsp

Sesame seeds ½ tsp


Directions:

1. In a saucepan take ¼ cup of water and combine tangerines, apples, onion, ginger, vinegar, Jaggery powder, mustard seeds, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.

2. Reduce the flame to low and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes until it gets thickened. Take it off from the heat and add the raisins.

Keep aside to cool and store in a glass jar and keep refrigerate.
