Corn Caramel Cake

Ingredients:

Butter ½ Cup

Popcorn 5 cups (popped)

All-purpose flour 2 Cups Granulated sugar 2 Cups Cocoa powder ½ Cup Baking soda 1 tsp Baking powder 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Eggs 2 large Buttermilk ½ cup Yogurt ½ cup Oil ½ cup Pure vanilla extract 1 tbsp Direction:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat the eggs, buttermilk, yogurt, oil and vanilla extract for 2-3 minutes. Slowly add all the dry ingredients to this. Mix until it gets incorporated well.

  2. Pour the mixture in a greased pan Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into it comes out clean. Cool it.

  3. In a large, dry skillet, heat the sugar over medium-high heat. Cook the sugar until it melts into a medium golden color. Remove from the heat and carefully whisk in the butter, a tablespoon at a time. Add popped popcorns to it.

  4. Pour this mixture on the top of cake and freeze it for 20-25 minutes.
