Dal Wali Jalebi

Ingredients:

Rice Flour or soaked Rice ¼cup

Urad Dal 1 cup (Soaked for 6-8 hours)

Yogurt 3 tbsp

Ghee /Oil for Frying

Water ½ - ¾ Cup + little more for making Sugar Syrup

Orange or Yellow Food Color 1/4 tsp

Cardamom powder ½ tsp (avoid if Making Dal Wali Jalebi)

Baking Powder 1 tsp​

Sugar 2 cup( For syrup)

Pistachios for Garnishing

Direction:

Blend the Urad Dal and Rice in a Blender by adding water to it.

Make sure this paste should not be too thick and not too thin.

Pour in a bowl, add rest of the ingredients.

Now fill this paste in a piping bag (you can use soft plastic bag or cloth). Cut it from the

bottom and start frying jalebis. Cook in Moderately hot Ghee. Cook till Bubbling

Reduces. Flip to cook till crisp.

Cook in Moderately hot Ghee.

Cook till Bubbling Reduces.
