Ingredients:
lime juice 2 tbsp
Water (2 cups boiling, plus 3 cup cold)
Jasmine Green Tea Bags 4-5
Honey 4 tbsp
Mint leaves 8-10
lemon slices 5-6 for garnishing
Direction:
Transfer lemon juice to a large pitcher.
Bring 2 cups of water to boil in a medium saucepan. Once the water reaches 170 to 185°F, add 4 green tea bags into the hot water.
Steep according to package instructions.
Using a large spoon, gently press the tea bags against the pan to extract the tea further.
Add honey, and stir until dissolved. Pour tea and honey mixture into the pitcher.
Add 3 cups of cold water to pitcher. Stir until well blended. Add more honey, if desired.
Serve chilled green tea with ice cubes, a few lime slices and 2-3 fresh mint leaves in each glass.
