Green Tea

Ingredients:

lime juice 2 tbsp

Water (2 cups boiling, plus 3 cup cold)

Jasmine Green Tea Bags 4-5

Honey 4 tbsp

Mint leaves 8-10

lemon slices 5-6 for garnishing

Direction:

  1. Transfer lemon juice to a large pitcher.

  2. Bring 2 cups of water to boil in a medium saucepan. Once the water reaches 170 to 185°F, add 4 green tea bags into the hot water.

  3. Steep according to package instructions.

  4. Using a large spoon, gently press the tea bags against the pan to extract the tea further.

  5. Add honey, and stir until dissolved. Pour tea and honey mixture into the pitcher.

  6. Add 3 cups of cold water to pitcher. Stir until well blended. Add more honey, if desired.

  7. Serve chilled green tea with ice cubes, a few lime slices and 2-3 fresh mint leaves in each glass.
